CRU launches Nitrogen+Syngas industry awards

CRU is launching a new series of awards as part of its Nitrogen+Syngas Expoconference, which will be held in Rome on March 16-18th 2027. The awards will celebrate exceptional projects, outstanding plant performance and initiatives that advance sustainability, decarbonisation and operational excellence, and recognise individuals and organisations that are helping to shape the future of the sector.

Participants will compete in two main categories: Project of the Year, which recognises an outstanding project that has delivered a clear improvement to an existing plant, safe plant operations, a process, or a facility, including brownfield or greenfield developments, major upgrades, retrofit work, commissioning, or startup success, and projects or initiatives that reduced emissions, improved energy efficiency, or supported low-carbon production; and Plant of the Year, recognising a plant that has delivered clear improvements in performance, reliability, safety, and operational efficiency through strong day-to-day operation and practical improvement.
