Casale to supply modular green ammonia plant

Casale has signed a contract with Neptun Glomfjord Green Ammonia AS (NGGA) for the engineering and supply of a 100 t/d modular green ammonia plant in Glomfjord, Norway. Announced on 23 September 2026, the agreement covers a facility using Casale’s SMART-N™ technology, to be delivered under an engineering, procurement and fabrication (EPF) model.

NGGA is developing the project at Glomfjord Industrial Park to serve local ammonia demand, drawing on the region’s renewable power resources and existing industrial infrastructure. Ammonia from the facility will subsequently be processed by third parties into nitric acid, ammonium nitrate solutions and downstream fertilizers.
