Casale to cut N₂O at Navoiyazot

Uzbek nitric acid producer Navoiyazot JSC has signed a contract with Swiss technology company CASALE SA for a secondary nitrous oxide (N₂O) abatement catalyst system at its plant in Navoiy, Uzbekistan. The project is funded by the German government’s Nitric Acid Climate Action Group (NACAG).
Casale will handle engineering, delivery, installation, start-up and performance support for the system, according to NACAG, which announced the contract on 12 October 2026.
