Uniper selects Topsoe for technology license
Topsoe has signed a contract with international energy company Uniper, to deliver front end engineering design (FEED) for the company’s NorthStarH2 green methanol project in Östersund, Northern Sweden.

SABIC AN makes FID for SAN-7 and selects technology providers
SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company (SABIC AN), Saudi Arabian fertilizer producer, has taken final investment decision on its SAN-7 project in Al Jubail. The development will add 1.2 million t/a of ammonia capacity and 2.6 million t/a of urea capacity. The EPC contract has been awarded to Samsung E&A Co., Ltd. for approximately $3.5 billion, with construction expected to start in Q4 2026.
Moeve begins Huelva green hydrogen project

Additional zinc-lead capacity
The Phase I development of the Zhugongtang lead-zinc mine in Hezhang County, Guizhou Province, is entering its final construction stretch. Full-line wet commissioning is scheduled to commence on 30 September, marking the official start of the trial production phase. Formal operational acceptance and commercial production are targeted by the end of 2026, following successful completion of performance testing and all necessary rectification work.
