KAPSOM completes equipment shipments for GEGHA project

    Written by Sofia D'Olivo

KAPSOM completed all equipment shipments for the Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (GEGHA) project near Moree, New South Wales, in late September 2026. The shipment included the core ammonia synthesis skid, completing the supplier’s manufacturing and dispatch scope ahead of on-site installation and commissioning.

The GEGHA project is being developed by a joint venture between Hiringa Energy and Sundown Pastoral Company at the Wathagar cotton ginning facility, approximately 33 km south-west of Moree. The project reached financial close in July 2025 and is expected to be fully operational in early 2027, producing up to 4,500 t/a of low-carbon ammonia. Total capital investment, including solar generation and battery storage, is estimated at A$115 million.
