Kuwaiti state oil company KOC has issued a public tender for a new sour gas pipeline. The 24” (61 cm) spur gas export line will be constructed from Station 171-BS through TP-1 to the Intermediate Gas Separator. The line will allow high sulphur natural gas gathered from West Kuwait’s gathering centres to be securely conditioned and routed eastward to processing plants like the Mina Al Ahmadi Acid Gas Removal Plant (AGRP). The final submission date for bids is reported to be January 5, 2027.
