India’s Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Manoharan Potheri as the new Director of Finance for state-owned Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT). Shri Potheri currently serves as Chief General Manager (Finance), Northern Region and Delhi State Office, for the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Since February 2026, the Director (Finance) position at FACT has been held by Shri S. Sakthimani, who is also Chairman and Managing Director.
India’s Department of Fertilizers has also appointed K.F. Sajo as the Technical Director for FACT. The appointment takes effect from the date he assumes charge and will continue until his superannuation on 31 May 2028. Mr Sajo has more than 35 years of experience with FACT. He holds an M.Tech. in Project Engineering and an MBA in Marketing. Before joining the Board, he served as Chief General Manager – FEDO & FEW, leading the company’s engineering, consultancy and project activities. During his career as a Process Engineer, he has implemented operational improvements across several plant sections, contributing to higher productivity, improved operational efficiency and stronger process reliability.

India’s National Fertilizers Limited has appointed Shri Mahak Singh as an Additional Director, in the capacity of a Non-official Independent Director, with effect from 14 August 2026. Singh is a businessman and public-service professional with more than 30 years of experience in business and community engagement. He has been involved in a range of grassroots social-welfare initiatives focused on community development. He served as a Municipal Councillor (Nigam Parshad) in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi from 2007 to 2017 and was also Chairman of the Standing Committee of the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC). His experience spans business, civic administration, public service and local community development.
Ruth Herbert has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, EET Hydrogen & Power, effective from 1 July. She succeeds Joe Seifert, who is returning to the investment banking sector. Ruth takes on the role at EET Hydrogen & Power as it approaches Final Investment Decision (FID) on its landmark HPP1 project.
Announcing the appointment, Prashant Ruia, Chief Executive of Essar Energy Transition, said: “We are delighted that Ruth will be stepping into the role of CEO for EET Hydrogen and Power. Her track record in the sector is considerable, and she has already been instrumental in shaping our vision for a low-carbon energy hub in the northwest. Ruth is perfectly positioned to lead the business through the next phase of delivery.”
Ruth commented: “It is a privilege to lead EET Hydrogen & Power at such a pivotal moment. Joe has built a world-class team and an incredible project pipeline. My focus will be on maintaining this momentum, working closely with our partners and the Government to deliver the low carbon hydrogen that is so vital to the UK’s industrial future.”
