Haldor Topsoe has appointed Elena Scaltritti as the company’s new chief commercial officer. She will take up her new position no later than July 1st, 2022. She has previously been executive vice president at Korea’s SONGWON Industrial Group, where she was responsible for the group’s commercial activities.
Ecovyst Inc, a leading provider of regenerated sulphuric acid, virgin sulphuric acid, and sulphur dioxide and related derivatives, says that it has appointed Laurie Bergman as Chief Financial Officer effective August 24, 2026. Ms. Bergman replaces Michael Feehan, who will be departing the company.
India’s Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Manoharan Potheri as the new Director of Finance for state-owned Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT). Shri Potheri currently serves as Chief General Manager (Finance), Northern Region and Delhi State Office, for the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Since February 2026, the Director (Finance) position at FACT has been held by Shri S. Sakthimani, who is also Chairman and Managing Director.

Engro Fertilizers Ltd has appointed Imran Ahmed as its new CEO, following approval by the company’s board of directors. He succeeds former CEO Ali Rathore. He achieved record urea production and better operational performance during his tenure, despite gas supply constraints, inflationary pressures and agriculture sector challenges. Engro is one of Pakistan’s leading fertilizer manufacturers, operating major production plants in Daharki and Port Qasim. It is widely recognised domestically for its flagship Zarkhez and Zingro fertilizer brands.
